Also, we have purposely scheduled no payments during the month of December. If you would like to make extra payments beyond the dates listed and reduce the amount of each installment, please feel free to do so. We just need to be sure that we have these totals in each student account, by the due date, in order to pay the vendors we are contracting with for this event. ____________________________________________________________ The Band Trip has been scheduled for May 20-23, 2010. This a competition trip for Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble and Colorguard. The total cost for this trip is $710.00 per person. This price includes all transportation, accommodations, most meals, all performance fees, and admission fees to all attractions we will be attending. While this price is subject to change, I do not anticipate a change taking place. The first deposit for the trip in the amount of $75.00 per person will be due on October 2nd. A payment schedule will follow shortly. Please note that all deposits can be paid by check or they can be paid by fundraising earnings. Beyond the payment information above, there are two points that you need to be aware of at this time. 1. Students attending overnight trips must have a C cumulative average in their core academic classes. If you foresee this being an issue, please contact me as soon as possible. We deal with situations falling under this policy in a case by case manner. 2. Trip insurance is available if you are interested. There are several plans; too much to discuss in this email. If you are interested in insurance, please contact my travel agency: Perkins Travel Company and ask for Lisa. She can be reached at 860-223-1655. Please note that she will not discuss any other aspect of the trip with you other than insurance. All trip inquiries need to go through me. All other specific trip information will be provided to you during the informational meeting, which takes place after the winter holiday break. Updates will be given at Booster meetings as they are confirmed with our vendors.
