This portion of the site is intended to develop alumni relations as well as provide a place to publicize what our past members are doing! So, when you get a chance, please consider sending a brief write-up (with a picture if you have it) of what you are doing now! Please be sure to include your graduation year and instrument!

Write-up material can be sent to the contact information located at the top right of this page.

Ryan Huebner - Class of 2012
"This summer I had the opportunity to sail in the Mediterranean Sea and across the Atlantic Ocean while onboard the Eagle. After leaving Spain I had the chance to spend a weekend in Monaco just days before the start of the Grand Prix. After Monaco we sailed to Cassis France and then finally across the Atlantic to Bermuda. While in Monaco I was able to take a picture of Eagle and a specific car I remember you always raving about. Feel free to share the pictures with the band and other faculty. Hope everything is going well!"

David O'Neill - Maloney Class of 1974 - Professional Trumpet Player, Recording Artist

www.davidoneill.com

I was born in Meriden, Connecticut and started playing trumpet at the age of 10. I began my solo work as a competing trumpeter in the Connecticut Fife and Drum Corp. and won my first state championship at the age of 12. I stayed undefeated for the next five years retiring my title with 92 gold medals and holding the state championships in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York.

During my teenage years I had the honor of being named the “Top Trumpeter of the Year in America”. I had won many awards and accomplishments including sitting first chair in All-State Orchestra for four years, first chair in McDonald’s All-American Band, Connecticut’s Young Artist award, John Philip Sousa award, America’s “ Who’s Who”, and many division titles.

I also had a great time touring Europe as a soloist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. I was accepted at the New England Conservatory of Music and Hartt College of Music, however, chose to go on as a soloist. My professional career has consisted of playing in the back-up bands with Michael McDonald, Bette Midler, Diana Ross, B. B. King, in the pit orchestras at Radio City Music Hall, the Broadway Theater, as well as the privilege of performing at the White House.
